chocolate and orange cake



ingredients:

8 eggs
300 g flour
250 g of butter
250 g of sugar
200 g of chocolate
1 packet of yeast
1 orange (zest + juice)

Deco icing sugar.

1 large buttered pan.


preparation:

Preheat oven to 180 °
Separate the whites and yolks
Beat the egg whites and set aside.

Beat the yolks with the sugar in a large bowl until frothy, then add and mix zest and orange juice
Melt the chocolate with the butter, then add the egg yolks and mix well.
Add the flour and baking powder and mix well.
Reinstate the egg whites, mix well until it is smooth.

Pour into the buttered pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until knife comes out clean (cooking time will depend on the depth of your mold, monitor).
